Soren Visti Kristensen is a seasoned business, engineering, and product development executive with over 20 years of management experience. He holds an accredited MBA and MScEE and has worked in global high-tech IT industries, covering specialist roles as well as executive leadership responsibilities with a strong focus on designing and delivering products and digital services. Soren has previously worked with and for Fortune100 companies, developing wireless and mobile technologies, solutions for smartphone ecosystems, and enterprise solutions. He has had direct responsibility for engineering and architecture teams, solution sales, and business development towards high-tech players in ISP, telco, mobile, and chipset industries on three continents. He has also led and managed geographically dispersed and culturally diversified teams in corporate global organizations as well as in entrepreneurial startups. His core competencies include general management, engineering management, strategy management, business development and sales, product management, solution and services consultancy, partner management and sourcing, and a strong understanding of embedded, Linux, web, internet, DNS, cloud, apps, and mobile/wireless technologies. He is also experienced in agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean Six Sigma, SAFE, DevOps, and Design Thinking, and has operations and infrastructure experience in CI/CD, build pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Containerization, Kubernetes, and more. Currently, Soren is the Vice President Group Systems Engineering at group.ONE and one.com, where he heads one of the largest ISP Open Source environments in Scandinavia and Benelux for DNS, Web & Domain Hosting, Virtual Servers, Cloud, Network, Data Centers, and Mail, Abuse & Calendar services. He is responsible for HW procurement, design, configuration, development, and maintenance of new and existing hosting solutions and infrastructure systems based upon scalable efficient Linux systems distributed among multiple data centers for all group brands. This includes building high-performance and highly available digital services for millions of daily users across 140 countries globally. Soren has a Master's degree in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering and a Cand. Polyt in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science from Aalborg University. He also has certifications in Lean Process and Digital Six Sigma - Motorola Certification.
